Wait a minute.

Why am I apologizing? This is my blog. It doesn’t even have readers to apologize to. I just do this for fun. You know what? I’ll resume posting when I feel like it. Because recently, I haven’t felt like it.

I won’t be able to post from Toys Con, but I will be able to tweet!  Anyone interested in the con can watch my Twitter feed to the left!                   →

I also plan to take plenty of pics and (Gasp!) video. I’m going to try my hand at con vlogging. see: those of TJOmega & Vangelus on Youtube. But unlike Vangelus, I’m going to actually be posting the video(s) within the month! It helps that it’s a small convention.

Next on my list: the list! Yes my con list. And as I was able to amass an appropriate amount of money beforehand, it’s kinda big!(for me anyways)

• Armada Superbase Optimus Prime
• WST Grimlock
• a Tamashii stand or two
• “the two-in-one detective:” (Maybe. Might have to look in a hobby shop though)
• Prime toys
• Chibi-arts CycloneJoker (it’s a posable chibi, what more reason do I need?)

Now I’m sure I’ll disappoint and not find any of that stuff. It is small con after all, but here’s hoping!

This’ll be a short update but a meaningful one.

First: COMIC #1 IS UP!!!!! I gave up on the torturously difficult method I was going to use to upload and archive the comic. Thus, I went with my back-up: The Funnies Forum on TFW2005. It does feature transformers, so it’s allowed. I’ll be doing this until I find a good Comic-ing method. In the mean time, I’ll be posting whenever a new comic is up. So no worries if you don’t go to that site normally. And if you follow me on Twitter (please?), or add me on Google+ (pretty please?), You’ll get instant updates. Cool, huh?

Also one thing: I’m going to Toys Con in about a week, so expect some cool stuff on here in to weeks or less!

I got a new toy! And his name is a mouthful!

I walk into a store, pass the the toy aisle and discover, lo and behold: it’s restocked. In the month previous to this there were only generic toys and toys with engrish written all over them. Not a cool toy in sight. Now, there are not only new toys, but pretty cool toys! Basically, what they’ve stocked is early-wave Marvel Universe, first wave regular and Wal*Mart exclusive transformers, and Clone Wars vehicles along with Star Wars Transformers. There were also some cars and masks there but meh. On to what I got.

What I got was a Marvel Universe Modular Armor Iron Man. Mouthful, ain’t it?

What you get is this:

He’s pretty well-articulated, and the included base proves very useful for displaying him in dynamic poses.

Note: I will not be showing pictures of him with the sculpted blast thing because frankly, the thing looks ridiculous.

On to articulation:

Now that’s impressive.

This toy’s getting a prominent space on my shelf (mostly because I need smaller toys to fill gaps.)

The significance is still the same; this wallpaper is to continually remind me of my true objective this Toys Con… To finally obtain my toy collector’s grail: Super Base Optimus Prime! Above is Supercon Optimus, but that’s beside the point—same character, and they’re both high on my list.

Here’s hopin’ for Toys Con 2011.

Why? Because this year I WILL get that Armada Prime.
